- Electronic Health Records (EHRs) – Common liability pitfalls, data integrity concerns, and strategies to protect both providers and patients in an increasingly digital environment.

Matt Groves
General Counsel, Copic Insurance
Matt Groves joined COPIC in 2023 as General Counsel and Compliance Officer after more than 27 years in private practice, which included many years of working with COPIC on various issues. His background includes a broad range of legal expertise in the areas of business growth, contracts, risk, tax strategy, succession, development, employment, and regulatory issues, including significant experience representing physicians, practice groups, and health care systems. His practice included extensive federal and state litigation and trials in multiple states and foreign countries. Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago.
