General Session - Leveraging IT Governance to Elevate Healthcare Leadership​​​​​​​

Achieving everyday excellence requires healthcare leaders to move
beyond reactive troubleshooting and into strategic IT governance. This session introduces a high-level framework to align technology with organizational mission. IHLA attendees will learn to lead with clarity, ensuring their infrastructure supports clinical excellence, protects patient data, and empowers high-performing teams.

SESSION OBJECTIVES:

The participants will be able to:

• Construct a strategic roadmap for everyday excellence by
  implementing a governance framework that bridges the gap
  between executive leadership and technical operations.
• Evaluate organizational performance through the lens of & "The Shield" framework to identify and eliminate the systemic IT inefficiencies that hinder clinical and operational quality.
• Transform the perception of IT from a cost center to a
  strategic operating partner, empowering leadership to make
  data-driven decisions that enhance patient care and
  community trust.

James Bowen is the owner and President of Five Nines Technology
